TAPIT Scholar Program
A wrap-around-academic counseling and support program expanded from PATHS alumni to include all TAPIT recipients who attend the University of the District of Columbia.
- Expansion of academic and career counseling services from 10 PATHS alumni to nearly 45 students
- Establish partnership with the IMA Bureau of Training and Employment TAPIT initiative to promote collaborative support of TAPIT Scholars
- Maintain files on all TAPIT Scholars
- Integrate the program of study into the Individual Responsibility Plan
- Require seminar attendance at the TAPIT Scholars Seminars during the semester
- Provide academic monitoring and counseling to:
- Identify early warning signs of academic trouble
- Connect students to PATHS and other university support services
