AAS Hospitality Management & Tourism

The Associate in Applied Science in Hospitality Management and Tourism is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry positions in the hospitality industry. It aims at developing an understanding of planning, organizing, leading, and control issues in hospitality service organizations, including hotels and restaurants. It also exposes students to the legal and marketing aspects in hospitality service organizations. It is designed for three (3) groups of students: 1. Those who would like to start their careers in the hospitality industry, 2. Those who are already employed in a hospitality service organization but would like to add to their knowledge and skills, and 3. Those who are interested in a career change.

Total credit hours for college-level courses required for graduation: 65.
