Welcome
Of course the School of Business and Public Administration is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). However, we offer more than just high academic standards. Our students can participate in extracurricular activities, hold leadership positions in School and University student organizations, and represent the School in various national competitions. Our graduates go on to pursue successful careers in a wide variety of fields in the private and public sectors, or enroll in graduate or professional degree programs. We are large enough to provide a wide range of opportunities, yet small enough to provide personal attention and support. Because we are located in the Nation’s Capital our students enjoy the benefits of being in a multicultural, cosmopolitan city surrounded by all types of organizations that provide innumerable opportunities for academic enrichment and fulfilling careers. This environment also provides invaluable resources for our special focus on identifying and solving problems specific to urban environments—locally, nationally, and globally. As you review our programs, picture yourself with us. Let us know whether you need scholarship assistance or career counseling. If you have dreamed of becoming a successful business leader, applying to SBPA could be the first step in reaching your dream. We will be there with you during the entire journey.
