About Department

The Student Affairs/Development unit is a catalyst to serve, to teach, to support and to develop the potential of each student at the University of the District of Columbia. We seek to enhance the academic preparation of students, the continued civic and social development of students and to bridge relationships between students, faculty, staff administrators and the general public. Above all, we are mentors, teachers and counselors, we listen, we motivate, and we support students and we create for the university the support structure for a learning environment.
