BS in Health Education

The Health Education Program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education with a concentration in public health. In addition, courses and learning experiences related to health/wellness and physical fitness may be taken by the general University student population to satisfy electives and university–wide requirements.

The Public Health option is designed to prepare professional services personnel for employment opportunities as administrators in public agencies, public health educators, or as directors of wellness centers.

The Health Education Program- Public Health requires students to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in major courses for graduation.
