Our Mission

Our mission is to help every one of our students receive the academic support necessary to foster their success here at the University of the District of Columbia and beyond. To this end, the Center supports incoming and continuing students as they explore their talents, discover new interests, and learn to navigate the University. We can help students select a field of study, identify courses of interest, and set a concrete degree plan, thereby helping them clarify their academic goals. We want to assure that traditional and non-traditional undergraduate students have consistent, timely access to advising services, receive accurate academic information, and support from professional and faculty academic advisors.
